Bonnie Jean Amundson, age 76 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, April 10, 2025 at her home. Born on November 1, 1948 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Esther L. (Hollenbaugh) Brestovich. A life full of love and joy. She spent her days in her perfect cabin in the woods, caring for her animals and cooking for her friends and family. Everyone was welcome at "Bammie's" house; and everyone was well fed. We will carry her memory in so many ways- the many quilts she made and gave to the people she loved, the recipes and plants she so willingly shared, the animals she lovingly cared-for, and simply in our hearts forever. She leaves behind her life-time partner, Larry Notestine, his 2 daughters, and their 4 children; her son, Jeff and his wife Angie; her daughter, Julie and her husband Sean, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and her brother Larry. Close family will be privately celebrating her life. By her wishes, there will be no viewing or services. Memorial donations may be made to any local food bank and/or animal rescue or shelter organization. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
